CATEGORY: Escape Rooms

Escape Lincoln is a local escape game establishment located in the Historic Haymarket of Lincoln, Nebraska, in the lower level of the Apothecary Building. Escape Lincoln is a real-life adventure game in which participants are locked in a room, use elements around them to solve puzzles, find clues, or piece together answers that help them “escape” within a set amount of time.

Survival Scenario:

You—or one of your friends, on your behalf—have volunteered to participate in one of our standard experimental testing scenarios. We can not elaborate on the nature of the tests or how the results will be used, however, we can tell you that your team is secluded in a cabin more than a hundred miles away from the nearest town. You will be required to work together and use your surroundings, as well as the tools provided, in order to survive.

Retro Rush:

Greetings. If you are reading this, I have met my demise. I can confidently say that at the time of writing, I have already lived a full and happy life. I have visited great worlds, partaken in great adventures, and seen truly amazing things—all with the best of friends, and mostly from the comfort of my living room.

You and your group have been virtually transported to my teenage home, and are faced with solving my riddles to escape the room and win. Don’t fret—no prior knowledge of the era is needed. Just bring your wits, your brain, and your A-team to attempt to conquer this quest. (This room was inspired by an awesome book called Ready Player One.)

Asylum Escape:

INCIDENT SUMMARY: At 9:45 p.m., an orderly went to patient’s room to administer medicine. Upon entering, found the room secured but empty. Patient escaped without setting off alarms or being detected. Current whereabouts are unknown. Patient is dangerous and has missed a high dosage of medicine.

INSTRUCTIONS: Respond to patient’s room immediately. Investigate how the patient escaped.
